Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Animation and Multimedia

The B.Sc. in Animation and Multimedia at EIMT is a three-year online undergraduate degree for students who want to build a real, complete skill set in animation, design and digital media, starting from the basics. This accredited program spans six semesters and comprises 180 ECTS credits.

This program takes you through the full journey step by step. You start with drawing, design and the basic thinking behind computer graphics. From there you move into 2D animation, 3D modelling, character design and web design. By the final year, you are working on visual effects, real time engines, AI tools used in production, and your own specialisation. Along the way you also complete a capstone project of your own, along with a written thesis.

Throughout the program, you will work with industry-standard software and technologies that are in use today. But the goal is bigger than learning software: you will develop the ability to think, draw, model, animate, work with code, and lead a small production before you graduate. At the end of three years, you will have a full portfolio, hands on studio experience, and the confidence to walk into a real animation or media job.
