The European Institute of Management and Technology, Switzerland, known as EIMT, is a private education institution established in the Canton of Zug, Switzerland.
EIMT specialises in business, management, leadership, technology, computer science, executive education, professional development and related areas of applied education. It provides flexible learning opportunities through online, blended, onsite and other approved modes of delivery, subject to applicable programme requirements, academic regulations, institutional policies, quality-assurance standards and student eligibility criteria.

Awards issued by EIMT must be distinguished from qualifications issued by Euro American Institute, Malta; Birchwood University, USA; London School of Management and Technology, United Kingdom; or any other sister or partner institution.
The accreditation, recognition or authority of one institution within the Euro American Education Group does not automatically apply to EIMT or to another group institution.

Euro American Institute (EAI)
The Euro American Institute (EAI), Malta, is a key member of the educational conglomerate - the Euro American Education Group that encompasses several institutions and universities, including the European Institute of Management and Technology, Switzerland, the London School of Management and Technology, United Kingdom, and Birchwood University, USA. The Euro American Education Group was established by a team of distinguished educationists working in academia with the express purpose of providing meaningful learning opportunities to students around the world, enabling them to earn accredited degree qualifications at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The Euro American Education Group has since then worked to set up institutions in the USA, Malta, France, the United Kingdom, and Malta to further its mission of providing quality international educational opportunities globally.
The Euro American Institute (EAI), Malta, draw their inspiration from some of the world's top universities. The EAI Learning Management System (LMS) is used by these Collegiate Institutes (CI), which are organisations of professors, teachers, and administrators to provide approved modules and programs. An essential aspect of every institute's teaching team is the institute Dean, who also serves as a teaching faculty member in the institute.

Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA)
The Euro American Institute (EAI) is an exemplary higher education institution that offers reputable European qualifications and is approved and recognised by the government of Malta. The Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) has accredited and licensed the Euro American Institute (EAI) in Malta with License Number: 2024-032 as a "Higher Education Institution." This accreditation allows the EAI to offer various programs at Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate Levels (Levels 6, 7 and 8) of both the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF) and the Maltese Qualifications Framework (MQF).
MFHEA is the Malta National Authority responsible for setting and updating the Malta Qualifications Framework, setting standards for the different qualification levels, accrediting courses at different MQF levels, and ensuring that the national quality assurance framework is upheld by all further and higher education providers in Malta. The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA), which is partly funded by the European Commission and the European Union, enforces ESG 2015 to enhance the quality of further and higher education.

Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)
EIMT has been granted candidacy status in the accreditation process of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP is an international organisation specialising in the accreditation of business and business-related education programmes.
Candidacy is a developmental stage in the accreditation process. It does not mean that EIMT or any EIMT programme has already received ACBSP accreditation. Accreditation is granted only after successful completion of the required review process and a formal accreditation decision by ACBSP.
EIMT will describe individual programmes as ACBSP-accredited only if and when ACBSP formally grants accreditation to those specifically identified programmes.

International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education — QAHE
EIMT holds accreditation from the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE), a private, non-governmental quality-assurance organisation.
This accreditation reflects an external private quality-assurance review. It is separate from institutional accreditation under the Swiss Higher Education Act.

Institutional membership
EIMT is an institutional member of the European Association for the Applied Sciences in Higher Education (EURASHE).
Founded in 1990, EURASHE is a European membership association representing and promoting professionally oriented and applied higher education. Its membership includes institutions and associations active in applied and professional education.
EIMT’s membership supports institutional cooperation, professional engagement, exchange of good practices and participation in discussions concerning applied higher education.
EURASHE membership is not institutional accreditation and does not confer Swiss university status, Swiss governmental recognition or degree-awarding authority.

ISO/IEC 40180:2017 Certification
Quality assurance for technology-enhanced learning
EIMT has received certification from AQS in relation to ISO/IEC 40180:2017, a standard concerning quality assurance, quality management and quality improvement for IT-enhanced learning, education and training. The certification applies only to the activities, scope and validity period stated on the applicable certificate.
ISO/IEC 40180:2017 certification is a quality-management certification. It is not academic programme accreditation, Swiss institutional accreditation, governmental recognition or recognition of EIMT’s private institutional awards.

Professional membership
EIMT is a member of the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA), a professional membership organisation supporting distance and digital learning across education, business, healthcare, government and related sectors. Membership provides opportunities for professional engagement, knowledge exchange and participation in the distance-learning community. USDLA membership does not constitute academic accreditation, Swiss institutional accreditation, governmental recognition or recognition of EIMT programmes or awards.

Institutional membership
EIMT is an institutional member of the Association for Transnational Higher Education Accreditation (ATHEA), a voluntary, non-governmental membership association concerned with quality assurance and transnational education.
Membership reflects EIMT’s participation in ATHEA’s professional network and quality-development activities.
ATHEA membership is not, by itself, accreditation of EIMT or its programmes. It does not constitute Swiss institutional accreditation, Swiss governmental recognition or recognition of EIMT awards.
If EIMT subsequently receives a separate accreditation decision from ATHEA, that accreditation should be disclosed independently, together with its scope, validity and non-governmental status.
