There are several options that students can choose for their housing in Châteauroux: students housing facilities, hostels, private flats, shared flats, etc. Most of these facilities are in the vicinity of the campus, or easily accessible by public transit or within walking distance of the institute. Students will get detailed information about housing options during the time of their admissions. Typically, the cost of accommodation on a shared basis will range between EUR 300 to 600 monthly.

    • For undergraduate programmes: Upper secondary education with a minimum overall score of 50%, or equivalent qualifications.
    • For postgraduate programmes: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution with a minimum overall score of 50% (GPA 2.0). Some programmes may require additional work experience.
    • For Doctoral Programme: Master’s degree from a recognised institution and certain level of work experience.
    • Proficiency in English Language: Our programmes are taught in English, hence, students are required to show their proficiency in the language by submitting your test scores of TOEFL / IELTS / PTE or by providing medium of instruction letters from your previous educational institution.

    • Sit for a personal Interview Upon shortlisting of your application, you will be informed via email of a personal interview online with the admissions jury. This step will help us in assessing your candidature better.
    • Final Acceptance Letter Issuance Upon meeting the conditions and getting through the interview and submitting of the course fees, you will receive a final acceptance letter. This letter is crucial for your visa application process
    • French Consulate Visa Application Contact your local French consulate to schedule a visa application appointment. Visa requirements vary based on your nationality and where you're applying from. Your consulate may request additional documents like Police Clearance Certificate, sponsor's financial proofs, and identification documents. EIMT will support you throughout this process.
    • School Fees Payment and Visa Stamping After 4 to 6 weeks of applying for your visa, you'll receive notification of its approval. At this point, you'll need to pay 50% of the remaining fees. In case of visa rejection, EIMT will refund your deposit with minor administrative deductions.
    • Pre-Arrival Session help our incoming students from overseas, we conduct a pre-arrival training session to ensure that you arrive in France conveniently. 
    • Arrival in France EIMT has a study group to help the arriving students settle in and live in France. Check our Campus page
