The primary objective of this program is to prepare practicing scholars for leadership in education at the local, state, national, and international levels. This goal is achieved through a combination of coursework, field experience, and inquiry opportunities. We develop educational leaders who work together towards the goals of educational and institutional improvement and social justice.

Understand, evaluate, and apply knowledge and skills in educational theory and research to issues in educational leadership policy and practice.
Understanding of the ethical responsibilities of leadership; interacting effectively and respectfully with others of similar or different cultures, values, and perspectives;
Design, conduct, report, and present a clear and coherent research study that contributes to the understanding and resolution of practice issues at multiple levels of educational leadership.

The first step for scholars is to draft their preliminary research proposal. This proposal can be an 8-10 page document that consists of essential factors of the EdD program. We have set up a pre-defined template to speed up the process of completion. You are advised to make the initial research proposal ready within the first month of enrolment and submit it. Your supervisor or Research faculty will give feedback on the same.
One can consider the following points while selecting his/her topic for the research project.
A Doctoral Degree Program typically requires extensive knowledge of the literature about the particular subject areas and the sophistication of how a project is developed and presented. These projects enhance students' experience and equip them to develop expertise in their specialization and prepare them to be competent practitioners/scholars. To achieve this goal, students are recommended to pursue a topic in which they already have extensive practical experience.
The Doctorate of Education (EdD) is a research-based full-time doctorate program delivered through a blended learning paradigm comprising coursework, research, workshops, seminars, conference participation, and self-directed study. This program is meticulously designed to allow students to attain a doctorate without putting their job on hold. The classroom experience and learning can be blended with professional experience to make a difference in your specialized field.

Candidates are eligible for admission by satisfying the following admissions criteria:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field regionally accredited college or university with an earned Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.00 or above.
Work experience within a for-profit firm, non-profit organizations, and/or government including NGOs.
Applicant interview if necessary as determined by Program Director.
Submission and evaluation of graduate school applications including; undergraduate and masters academic transcripts, ID or passport copy, and resume.
Applicants for the Doctorate program EdD, are exempted from an English exam provided they completed their schooling years and/or bachelor’s program at a recognized school where the medium of teaching is English.
Once the Admission Committee reviews your application and provides a positive response, you will receive a letter of admission. After processing the payment, you will receive an email with your login credentials and access to our Learning Management System.
EdD Candidates must earn a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher and be in good academic standing.
All program requirements must be completed, including the final dissertation/thesis submission.
The EdD at EIMT is designed in this sort of way that scholars end within 3 years. Extension years are usually not granted. The program generally comprises mainly to three phases:-
